The beauty of abstract expression is how no two people will see the same subject. I often hesitate to name my abstract pieces to avoid planting suggestions about what a painting “means.” A painting may be important to me for very different reasons than it is important to you. This piece, however, resonated strongly with me in it’s promise of matriculation from one phase of life to another. You may see something different. That’s one of the reasons I love art so much.

This original abstract painting is textured with heavy body acrylics applied using a palette knife. The frame is included and features complimentary hues.
